As ex-farmers, this compromise didn’t sit well with us at Bullmax. So, we found a more affordable way to put quality machines in the hands of Australians. We paired local design and testing with the best of China’s manufacturing to construct our incredibly tough collection.
With nearly 20 years of experience working in China, we have strong relationships with top-tier manufacturers – and know how to negotiate a great price with our bulk-buying power. Although you can find cheaper equipment, you’ll never find machines that are more functional and economical in the long term.

My guys are pretty tough on our equipment, working under extremely difficult conditions at times. One piece of equipment we use regularly are earth augers. We have used all the big brand names over the years but since our purchase of our first BULLMAX earth auger over 12 months ago, at about 1/3 the price of an equivalent “famous brand”, we will not be going anywhere else.
We use these machines daily and have found them to be reliable, powerful, well-engineered and are almost indestructible. Don’t worry, my blokes have tried!!!
We had a bit of fencing to do so I hired one of these 4 stroke BULLMAX post drivers from Agwise in Cudal. We used it for a day and I took it back and bought one! They are so light, well balanced and easy to use we couldn’t believe it. We then went on and used it to put in several kilometres of fencing and it worked like a dream.
I also have retail business myself in Richmond NSW (Newmarket Saddlery) I loved this machine so much I searched for the distributor and we now retail them through our store. They are exceptional value and I believe there is nothing on the market that works this well for the price.
I run a fencing contracting business with my brother Luke and father Mick. Together we employ about 20 fencing staff constructing commercial and rural fences Victoria wide. About 3 years ago we bought out first BULLMAX post driver that was a 2 stroke model. This little machine soon became the “go to” post driver over all the other brands because of how well balanced it is, light and easy to use. After using a post driver all day, you soon learn to grab the machine that is the easiest to use! This machine paid for itself time after time and I would highly recommend it for knocking in standard and maxi star pickets.
Since then we have purchased several 4 stroke BULLMAX post drivers that have also performed well and they too have become our staffs post driver of choice!
When maintenance is required required, BULLMAX can supply whatever spares we have needed out of stock in super quick time or they have taken care of servicing via their own workshop.

I have been using the BULLMAX 4 stroke post driver for over 12 months now and it is a fantastic machine. Recently I needed to knock 3M x 50MB pipe 1800mm into rocky ground and this machine took care of it without any issue. We use it for driving in standard or maxi star pickets or pipe and this machine does it without any stress.
When we did need to get servicing done, BULLMAX carried out the service quickly and efficiently with a minimum of downtime.
We also own a BULLMAX 2 man earth auger that is the toughest auger our Company has owned. The amount of work this machine has done is unreal and it just keeps going. The good part is that the auger bits have replaceable tips that BULMMAX have in stock, saves us purchasing the whole auger bit when they wear out.
As a small business It is hard to justify the big ticket prices demanded by the popular brands and I find BULLMAX machines a real viable alternative at about ½ the price.
We are rural fencing contractors working all over Tasmania. We encounter all soil types and terrain. Our best acquisition of equipment in the last couple of years has got to be our BULLMAX 2 stroke post drive. This little machine bats above its weight big time. It can knock in standard star pickets or maxi posts as fast as any machine we have used.
It is lighter than all the other brands, is well balanced, easy to use and ½ the price of popular post drivers on the market. We have several of these in or kit and have literally flogged them every day and they just never give up. Awesome product!
I run a mobility scooter hire service at many major events throughout Australia. We have a fleet of 132 scooters that all run on batteries. Most events run for several days and obviously each scooter will need their batteries to be re-charged sometime during the event. A majority of the events are run in fairly remote locations where available power is scarce or unreliable or not available at all.
We made do for some time using several small portable generators that did the job for a while but this was not the best long term solution.
After consultation with Bullmax and their engineer Darrell Hanns, we purchased a BULLMX BMDG-12SA-3, 13.75KW diesel generator from JUDDS ENGINEERING in Wagga Wagga, to take care of re-charging our scooters during each event. Although we theoretically needed more power than this generator, we were advised to save the money and try this model and if more power was required, to purchase a 2nd machine. As it turns out this machine is more than adequate for what we require in reality, so we were very pleased with this advice saving us about $10,000!
So far the BULLMAX generator performs exceptionally well. Starts easily every time and sips fuel at a rate of about 2 litres per hour under load, which I am very happy with.
It has been a pleasant experience to date dealing with BULLMAX, receiving timely professional advice and great reliable equipment at a very reasonable price. We would highly recommend seeking advice from BULLMAX if you are in need of an electrical power solution of any kind.
